Hi all
Recieved 2 top plate rotokegs from a neighbour who was skipping them - now I know most will say just buy new, but I enjoy bringing old bits and bobs back to life.
The main seal around the top plate is dead, so I have cut an oval gasket out of silicone, which I think should do the job - we’ll find out!
The main thing is I have no idea bout pressure barrels or gas. I am thinking I want to add a pressure guard to this and use a smaller Sodastream/s30 bottle to carb it, but this valve has me stumped - it’s like nothing I have seen before, or any of the replacements that are available. I would rather strip it down and replace seals etc but not if I cant get anything to work with it.
Does anyone know what it is? Is the fitting an old one that is now obsolete?
I am fairly set on having to buy a new one but if I can repair then I will.
