Came accross this forum a few days ago whilst on a search looking for answers to orange wine problems and decided to stay! Got into home winemaking many years ago but then had a gap of about 20 years!! Just recently (April) decided to get back into making wine again after discovering a prolific source of sloes in my neck of the woods last Autumn (had around 8 kilos of the things in my freezer!) I already have a dozen assorted gallons laid down and (presently) running out of space, but that won't stop me firing off a couple of gallons of Strawberry wine this coming week. t'll be a first for me as previous attempts at Strawberry wine all oxidised and had to be chucked out. Serves me right for using dodgy fruit in stormy weather - I won't make the same mistake again (hopefully)...
