Hi all,

Has anyone got a simple IPA recipe?
A nice hoppy one ;)

This will be my first AG brew.

Many thanks
Andy

This worked for me:

5kg pale malt
200g flaked maize
60g roast barley
90 min mash at 66c

90 min boil
40g fuggles 60mins
60g goldings 60mins
Protafloc tablet 15mins
10g goldings 0mins
10g goldings dry hop (after five days in fv)

Yeast SO4

I got 23L at 1.050

I made this a couple of months ago and thought it was fantastic. A little bitter at first but then mellowed out after around 6 weeks, I might aim for 40 IBU next time.

I also dry hopped 20g of styrian goldings after 3 days, definatly worth doing this I think, had lots of aroma.
