On my 2 ag brew today I found when transferring to FV there was sludge in the bottom I used a nylon bag for hops so not that
I also used a protofloc tab and could see coagulated proteins
But maybe some grain got in i didnt pour it in FV
Would people normally dump it in ?
Also do people squeeze the hop bag I just let it drain was worried I would add unwanted bittering

leave it out. The more **** you put into the fermenter, the harder it will be to clear the beer later. Don't squeeze the bag - you'll just add unnecessary matter too. If you feel there is a big liquid loss, account for this in your water calc on your next brew. My 2 cents
