I love the sound of smash beers something I tried when doing extract
When going ag I think I got carried away adding everything thing I could so next couple of brews will be singles
Anyone ever do one that stood out I remember comet and Columbus being good

I've done a (near) smash of Maris Otter & Simcoe which turned out nicely. Just added a bit of flaked for head retention.

I've brewed a couple of nice 'almost smash' pale ales with extra pale Maris Otter and about 15% Cara Malt.
The Cascade version came 2nd in the March freestyle competition so I must be doing something right !
That is almost finished now and I'm drinking a second batch made with Chinook. Simple is better imho when starting out with all grain and getting familiar with different malts and hops.
