I've got a 1.5kg velvet stout extract kit and some chocolate malt kicking around. I also have smoked grain and peated grains.

Would anyone have a suggestion to putting these together and using some of the Slovenian hops in it to?

Ive tried smoked malt in lots of brews and it all went down the sink. I really like smoked foods so i naturally though i would enjoy the beer. Mine ranged from disgusting to extremely disgusting. Others may enjoy it though. :)

I've had some dark German beers that were smoked. Almost liking licking an old railway sleeper.

Some will already be familiar with the railway beer. I'd Luke just a little hint of it .Might just go ahead and do it later once dinner is prepared

How do you know what licking railway sleepers is like? :nono:

Lol. Good point. It actually comes from doing ground work for a landscaper and the railway sleepers used to retain beds leach oil in the summer heat. And it stinks. Best comparison I could think of.

And that's ma doggie suki sue
