Hi Guys,

I'm on the west coast of scotland, andI've been brewing for a little over a year. I've been using sodastream canisters recently, and was wanting to make the step to building my own kegerator and getting a decent;y sized cylinder of gas.

I've done a bit of local research, and found some options via Adams Gas, Air Liquide & Air Products, but they both seem to have large hidden costs (rental, deposit etc.) nto to mention the current travel restrictions.
I've also approached a couple of specialist aquarium shops, but had no luck.

before i go ahead with one of the three providers above, can anyone reccommend a reputable west coast/Glasgow CO2 supplier?

cheers.

I've just started brewing and kegging in Glencoe. First sodastream used up just about. Did you find anywhere on the West Coast? Found one in Livingston (6.35kg = £90 then £15 per refill) and waiting on Russells in Stirling to get back to me.

That's less than half the £34 I pay Hobbybrew! Time to start shopping around I think
