I did one of these, started on the 14th Feb - I wrote down an initial SG of 1.026 which I don't think could have been right, (I usually take a pic, but didn't) as two days later after a nice bit of bubbling it was 1.030. A few days later on the 25th it was 1.024, and seemingly not doing much, so I made a batch of starter yeast, and added that. Still not much airlock activity, if I swirl the FV it builds up a bit of pressure, but yesterday was 1.018 and today was 1.016. Tastes alright from the trial jar too, so I think it's going to be alright after a while in bottles :)
