I was talking to a chap today and he said the instructions on the side of the kit suggested adding sugar to the brew before bottling. As I understood it, these kits didn't need any extra sugar. Any ideas?
Is it something only needed if bottling for carbonation?

im brewing this at the moment. I think he is referring to the 2 can kit already having added sugar but as i believe it you still have to prime.

It is just I think for bottling. Do I need to add sugar if I am putting it in a Corney?

no, you use the co2 to carbonate the beer. some people do still put sugar but no point if your gassing the brew up.

you dont have to add additional sugar to the kit unless u want to increase the %, only use sugar to prime/batch prime when bottling
