Standard kettle leads/connectors

Does anyone know where you can buy kettle leads or just the female connector block and wire in your own cable? :hmm:

they are used a lot in boilers but i dont know if they would take the current for any length of time

1.5mm really would be ideal
normal kettle leads are smaller but the length of time the kettle is designed to be on is only a min or 2

only rated 6 amps.. is this enough for a boiler element?

NO.

A kettle element will draw about 10A.

I've got them :nono: :nono: just ordered the ones from cabling4less. I followed the same instructables how to. They have worked ok but I will obviously not use them again. What would have happened if I had used them for any length of time?
