Good Afternoon.

Can anyone recommend a nice Irish stout I can do please and whether I have to do anything extra, like change yeasts etc.

Thank you.

For £15 you cant go far wrong with 'The range'

2.2kg lme, Brewed it to 18l, swapped out the yeast for CML Midland and added a few extras like lactose, muscovado & a bit of treacle..... Bottled 1/10 just the wait now👍

There are obviously better kits available, but for Xmas stock it hits my spot.

That’s the one I make also. I add 1 kg of brown sugar and 150g of treacle or molasses. Definitely change the yeast to either Midland or Five from Crossmyloof.
Add 500g of Lactose if you want a Milk Stout and/or Cocoa nibs if you want a chocolate stout.

Hi
How does the kilo of brown sugar compare to beer kit enhancer?
