Hello

My brew has been in a room for 14 days and I've checked the temperature 3 times and its 15 degrees, it might go up slightly when the radiators are on but it's not close to the radiator so maybe not....

My gravity is at 1010 now and the instructions are to wait until its 1005. Can I add a fishtank heater now to increase the temperature a few degrees to help reach 1005 quicker? Or should I just leave it at 15 degrees now it's started at that, and wait a little longer? I don't want to ruin my brew, it's my first go!

I have the Geordie Lager kit, I've read mixed reviews but as it is a present I don't want to waste it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I have done that kit several times and never got anywhere near 1005. Most kits are good to bottle when they have had the same reading for 3 days and it's around 1010 . That temp is a little low in my opinion. Aim for 18-20 next time.
