Think i've made a mistake!

I have been reading some posts and think i've made a mistake.

I have added 1tsp of sugar to every bottle instead of 1/2tsp

The bottles are coopers amber pet bottles 500ml.

Will they be ok or am i going to have problems (exploding bottles) :nono:

Not exploding bottles, lager levels of fizzyness.

1 tsp is rather a lot, i use around 1/4 tsp, if you are using pet bottles they shouldnt explode, they can up up to 60 psi and sometimes more, but i should imagine it gonna be a bit gassy when you open them, so be careful and open them over the sink

You can reduce the co2 by giving each bottle a quick release of the cap early on if you don't want them that fizzy.
