Ok, my first batch of turbo cider finished yesterday, using adsa ownbrand pure applejuice I used one of those turbo yeasts as I wasnt overly concerned about flavour, just wanted something to get drunk on!
Suprisingly the flavour is good, bit of a vodkary taste of to it!

My question is, could I use geletin to clear it before bottling? If so how would I do it?
Cheers all

Russ

Dissolve one sachet of gelatine in 1/2 a pint of hot (not boiling) water, add 1/2 a pint of TC stir until mixed then add tot eh FV . . . should clear within 24 hours . . . IF it has finished fermenting

I have fermented many a pint of asda apple juice and I have found it clears up very well without any assistance just leave it upright in the bottle for a couple of weeks the yeast will settle out of it and it will clear up the taste will improve too. happy drinking :drink:
