Hi guys. I started a gooseberry wine at the weekend, pitched the yeast yesterday. I mashed up the gooseberries in a brewbag a couple days before and found my lid fit over the bag on to the bucket, so i have it lined like you would a bin.

However, i have taken a look at it today and found the drawstring around the outside is very wet. I'm a bit concerned that the liquid in the bucket is being drawn out by the bag. If this is the case, can I assume that imfection will be a great possibility? Should i have just put the whole bag in the bucket lile a sensible person would have?

The mother-in-law will kill me for wasting half of her gooseberry harvest on this wee project :-P
