Are they ok for use with wine ?

Knowing the speed that the wife goes through a batch of WOW or even a kit I don't think it'll be too long in the bottle anyway ! :P

Great no problems, I used to rack into 3ltr type coke bottles and liked the way the sediment compacted in the moulded feet, made it easy to syphon into bottles

It's not for racking, it's for use instead of wine bottles ;)

I'll maybe do a batch 50/50, 50% for aging into wine bottles and the other 50% in PET bottles for use in the immediate future.

Just make sure you degass thoroughly, which is easy in pet's and jobs a goodun :thumb:

I've been using them and not had any issues. I also have a problem keeping up with consumption, but have to say it tastes better towards the end of the batch.

Cool :thumb:

I just bottled up a Cantina Pinot Grigio kit on sunday so have no wine bottles left at the moment. I've got over 30l of WOW on the go at the moment too so don't have any wine bottles at hand spare.
