Hi All,
I have got very into AG beer brewing brewing over the last three years or so and as part of it I have an RO water filter unit. At the moment getting 7-8 hours spare to do an AG brewday is very hard, but our neighbours have some plumbs by the roadside that are going free and we have a surplus of blackberries from picking we have been doing in the freezer, so I was thinking of doing a gallon of each while the beer brewing seems to be on hold.
I was wondering have any winemakers used RO water? if so do they had any salts back in to it to get to to a specific water profile for wine? I am over in east anglia so the tap water is very hard, and as I have the unit thought I might as well use it if it will benefit the end product.
I have a few CJJ Berry recipe books, but if there are recommendations for a blackberry or peach wine recipe I would also be very grateful.
Cheers,
