Well, gone and done it now.

Just 'bottled' my first batch of lager (Coopers) into 11 2 litre pet bottles.
It looks ok (assuming it should look a darker colour than say Fosters), and smells ok and seems reasonably clear.

In the cupboard for a month now and then I'll know. Hopefully the bottles won't explode.

Does it sound all ok to you folks?

sounds ok, true test is in the taste, another month wont do it any harm, mind you next time think about using some 500ml bottles as well, glass or the plastic pet bottles, makes testing/tasting easier, less time waiting for 500ml than 2 litres.
