I'm going to go straight from kits to BIAB and for a number of reasons I only want to do 1-2 gallon batches. A lot of the recipes I'm looking at are 5 gallons so I'm going to need to some soft ware to convert to 1 or 2 gallon. I know beersmith can do this but this costs money. Are there any free software that can do this? I downloaded beer target but as a brand new BIABer everything looks pretty complicated at the moment and haven't gotten around to reading all of the manual so cant work out whether the software can adjust recepe volumes

I quite like Brewmate too. I've got Beer Engine installed as well but don't really use it since downloading Brewmate, and did refer to the BIABrewer spreadsheets to start with which helped get my head around adapting stuff for BIAB

I've got Brewpal on the Iphone. It works so well I haven't bothered to try any others.
