Greetings,

I have a Wilco pressure barrel, with a MTB type screw top.

Does anyone know how or what to use to measure the barrel internal pressure??

Appreciate any advice.

Regards,
Clive

Not sure what you mean by MTB type screw cap, but if it’s a 4” diameter. Cap you can either fit a Schrader type valve and use a low pressure tyre gauge to measure pressure or fit a dial pressure gauge, either 1-15 or 0-30 psi. If it’s a 2” diameter cap, not so easy.

I just used my first Wilco one today. I could see that the box appeared to have been resealed and put that down to them putting the gas bulbs in there but when I went to clean it I found that they had vaselined the tap and the seals ready for me - fair play.

It is now holding my first ever all grain attempt after showing no leaks with the water. It's not a very carbonated ale so am very satisified so far.
