Wow ! this is just the sort of beer that really gets me excited.
My dad recently went on a tour of the Great Yorkshire brewery (formerly Cropton brewery I think ?) and brought back some bottles. This was the stand out drink of the lot for me. Luckily the old man wasn't keen so I got his last bottle :-)

Easy on the mouth but with bags of malty goodness, and the promised chocolate finish. Most chocolate flavoured beers go too far for my liking, but this one keeps it in the background, letting the deep stouty flavours do the real talking.

I am lucky enough that a local pub keeps it now and again. It's one of those beers that if you are trying your way along a set of pumps, this one stops you in your tracks and makes you get a second :drink:

I would recommend it for those that like an earthy pint, as I would any beer from this brewery, well worth a go.

I've not had the lager yet, I may have to pester this bar to get some in
They usually have their Yorkshire golden or the blackout on tap as a rule.
