Youngs Ale Yeast

Anyone used this yeast? Is it any good? A friend gave me a couple of sachets. Just wondered what it was like, or what the characteristics are. I'm always a bit suspicious of generic type yeasts, but I have had good results from the Youngs wine yeasts.

Never used it. Are these the ones with only 5 or 6g in the sachet instead of 11g?
