I think they do a LME 1kg for a pound or so more.

yes darrell 1.5kg. real bargain. I believe its only in the form of a light malt. not sure that's a major issue though unless your following a recipe by exact matches

HBC LME is a fiver per 1.5kg tin which is the best I've seen anywhere and half the price of Coopers

Looks like they've sold out at the moment but will hopefully get more stock. It's unbranded, comes in an un-marked tin but looks and smells right. I've got a few tins and am doing a simple Extract brew with it as I type this, so we'll see how it turns out.

DME just seems to cost a fortune so I've gone back to LME for now.

I use Geterbrewed when i need a fair amount of different things, spray malt 500 grms £3.50. 1 kilo £6.50, you need to take into account of p and p however.

They have a shop that I go into and they are very helpful with advice for newbies such as myself. They are cheaper than Tesco but they don't do bulk DME packs that I am aware of.
