I have just seen the brewtools brewing system and this video.



Is it me, or is this overly complicated?

Thought I would share.

I would say yes, I am not keen on the AIO's that have the controller on the bottom as you need them at height to use them, if you have a bad back lifting the pipe is going to be a problem unless like him you have a hoist.

Yes I didn’t watch it all but I enjoyed how easy it was to lift the malt pipe in that system

Still want to try a trub trapper, I think I can make a reasonable approximation with some perforated sheet and a silicone hose cut open to fit as a seal. Or I suppose maybe the seal isn’t needed and I could just try to roll the edges.
