Hi
Purchased via the electricbrewery website,it’s a link to Amazon US
Easy to fit,and there is a video on their website on how to install.
I used a metal electrical box, with the punch out holes.
Used a Q cutter to cut the back out of it,and the same for the pot.
Wired by high voltage cable/cooker cable type, mines the braided steel with a plastic coating.
Here’s the link for the element they are $39 work brilliantly, don’t buy the kit,too expensive, you can diy it for around £15.

When wiring the box up,seal around the element with high temp resistant silicone once it’s secure to the pot.
The earth wire attaches to the screw on the front plate of the box,so once the 4 screws are tightened up one is the earth,if you get what I am saying. The top left side screw is attached to the earth as in pic below, you screw this tight first, the attach the cover with the other 3 screws otherwise the earth will not be tight enough if you put the screw through the plate from the front.,or you could solder it to the box.
Notice the holes in the bottom of box are punched out, there’s a reason for this,if it ever leaks, which mine have never in 3 years, you would see a leak before it ever fills with water.
Once the element is pushed through the electrical box,you use a large stainless washer and a small stainless washer which incorporates a silicone washer, available from Angel home brew.If you contact Paul he will tell you exactly what washers to use,it’s the same for attaching ball valves etc,2 washer fitting system.
