I thought exactly the same. I seem to remember a documentary/consumer affairs program showing DHL staff throwing anything marked as fragile, though it was about 10-15 years ago if I recall correctly.

Looks like they have started scanning - 25 entries in so far (yesterday it was 10 which I assume were drop offs to the organiser's house).
Hopefully they opened the damaged box first and contacted the poor sod before making a start on the others. Straw clutching in hope.
I also got that photo - I'm pretty sure I can see my box actuallyWell that's mine away and delivered. Opted for glass rather than PET this time, hopefully my packaging holds up

That's normal. Once scanned in it will turn green with a tick, like the confirmed and paid options above.
I have a Royal Mail confirmation mine was delivered on Friday morning but it isn’t yet showing as received on the competition website.
They manually scan them in, which is a long process. They have currently scanned 62/189 entries.
Anyway I imagine the first delivery on Thursday will be at the back of the cold store, so going to stop checking until later.

Yipee mine have arrived!!.. I've been cursed with this comp in previous years...
2022: DHL somehow just couldn't deliver my parcel and took them 5 attempts to actually get the parcel where it should be.. So yep that was 4 times, the parcel was loaded onto the van in the morning, bounced around the streets of scotland all day long before being unloaded back into the depot in the evening. All the while they were delivering other beer submissions just fine so I haven't the faintest what happened to mine.. And it was an unusually warm January IIRC.. needless to say they didn't do well being treated like that.
2023: Royal Mail seemed to just lose mine into a black hole as the beers never left my local sorting office.. Well not until like a month after the competition! You can imagine the organisers surprise (and mine somewhat!) when I got a message to say they were delivered a month after posting!
I've been using parcel force ever since and they have been awesome.. I always use their 24hr service and every shipment has always been next day..
At least this year if the beers are rubbish, I can't blame the parcel company!!

Had a nervous wait (knew I should have paid the extra for tracking...) but after 180 other entries were scanned in mine have finally shown up as received.

Table 3 and 11 for me. Roll on Sunday afternoon.
Table 5 and 12 for me, I have only had one pint of my chinook porter so far and I had a stinker of a cold at the time so I'm crossing fingers it's as decent as last time.
