There's a lot to be said about old guys playing, how tight are these guys, i love Willies guitar it is battered and bruised from many years on the road, long live trigger

Off the back of watching The Piano and talking music with No. 3 child, I’ve just listened to this three times on the trot.
I am not a fan of Metallica, or of classical music. But you can’t not appreciate the magic that happens when world class world class musicians from different genres get together. Kirk Hammett and Lang Lang pull something very special out of the bag here.

Fantastic song on its own but extra special like this.
Based on a novel by dalton trumbo called Johnny got his gun about a soldier wounded in ww1.
I’m now listening to the “and justice for all “ album at full volume.
Cheers @Alastair70 😂

My ears are bleeding 😢. On holiday in Tenerife and just suffered an Elton John tribute. Elton has poor intonation now, although some of his songs a fab. I had to walk out after Singing the Blues.
Arghhh

I agree. Elton John’s voice now is a shadow of what it was. In the days of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road he was absolutely fantastic.
With that said, I would think a good tribute artist might well be the best way to hear his songs being performed live these days!

That's what we thought!!
Anyway...tonight it's Comedy Elvis??? Another one to give a miss to lol
On the upside the local canaries larger is going down a treat. No special but its hot here.

Another cover that’s better than the original. The second Hammond organ solo (around 2.50) takes me back almost 30 years when psychedelic music and ‘jazz’ cigarettes played a big part in my weekend chill time.
