I get presents on my Birthday and father's day, not Christmas. That way I can spend more on the wife and kids at Christmas, and have something nice myself on my birthday without breaking the bank (I only have to wait until February, so it's not that long). 
That said, my wife usual ends up getting me a small surprise anyway, so that I have something to open on Christmas morning with everybody else.

I have this already but it's so hefty, I'm scared to open it otherwise I'm not sure anyone would see me for about 3 weeks!!
I think I would also like a refractometer having read some of the threads on here about using them. I'm not a stupid person really but I'm just rubbish and reading my hydrometer with any accuracy and don't like having to dip a trial jar into the beer once fermentation has started.

I’d love a Fermentasaurus, but need to get my garage sorted and a brew fridge acquired before I can brew in the new house.
I also bought one of the Spiedel fermenters about a week before the whole moving house process kicked off so I might not be too popular buying a new fermenter when I have a £45 one sitting there that’s never been used!

On the subject of books. I always used to get books at Christmas time as a kid. Especially the book of world records from that well known beer maker.
Its not Christmas without a book. I'm just missing water and malt from the brewing elements series. Ones I really hope to get this year.
I can hold off on the keg. I'll buy that. I'd also like a folding shovel what for my dirt fishing (metal detecting)

I've just obtained a finishing hydrometer - the scale is much easier to read.

I also have a wine thief. It makes sampling wort and beer a breeze - I got mine from Boyes. It's also available on Fleabay

Refractometers are great for reading wort gravity, but can't read gravity of beer without a lot of faffing about.
I use my refractometer when mashing, but rely on the hydrometer once fermentation has begun.

Bought a Fermentasaurus last night, it’s my Christmas present. When I mentioned my other fermenter, SWMBO said I’ll be using both if I’ve got more room to brew. Bonus!
@MickDundee Just watched BBQ n Beers review of the fermentasurus, and it looks freakin awesome. I deffo want to get my hands on one of those.

Down from £110 to £90 on Maltmiller at the moment. Looks like they’ve bought a load in to sell off because of V2 coming out next year

Want a Corny keg setup (have the fridge ready and waiting) but money is tight at the moment and the kids take priority so will probably be settling for a bottle of whisky.

That's what I'm after too. Last year Beer Hawk did a fairly insane 50% black Friday sale on almost all their homebrew equipment, including their keg systems. If I recall you could get a complete corny keg starter kit for about £70 or so. I don't know if they're going to run the same sale this year but it would be worth checking on Friday in case they do. I've been keeping tabs on their site at the moment and, in general, their stock levels seem to be very low. I suspect this might be them gearing up for a bit of a bonanza come Friday. Possibly just wishful thinking on my part...
