sounds like it! im using a budget keg at moment would you say it would be worth extra to buy king keg top tap? bit undecided ! sorry for straying off subject
was thinking to do this, reason im asking is because iv recently done a
festival kit golden stag and did just that but the bottled beer was to carbonated for me and wasnt like drinking ale if you see where im coming from? but i have one barrel and forty swing top bottles, just means ill have to...
Hi guys, just a quick question can i continue to bottle my ale from pressure barrel to bottles after its been conditioning for four weeks? If so will it just be same process with priming sugar in the bottles. What im worried about is will yeast be lying at bottom of pressure barrel?
my first time bottling ale, added half a tea spoon to each bottle and its carbed great but to much for an ale, would suit a lager, any recomendations? have i put to much sugar in?
Good stuff, mine wasnt to far behind FG finished at 1.1 and took two weeks to ferment out at 18-20C, its now just finished its week in the warm so couple of weeks and ill be supping! Let you know how it gets on:grin:
Slaters brewery in stourbridge were doing a simlar tour, i went end of nov. £15 for tour of brewery, 2 pints and a ploughmans lunch all soaked in beer, fantastic! And the ales were too:grin:
i keep mine in warm at about 18-20 for a week to ten days then drop it to 13, all depends on your preference, i conditioned at 15 before and was fine! if your doing a lager tho you may want it a bit cooler
