My only question is, would you liquor back to get correct OG or leave it and enjoy the extra alcohol?

I did wonder, but it’s what came in the box so I pitched it. The yeast cells have the extra OG to munch on and there’s been plenty of activity over the last few days. I’ll do a gravity check mid week and see where we are.

Kegged and bottled tonight, and having a celebratory Lagunitas IPA. Final gravity settled out at 1.018 giving an ABV of 6%. Trial jar tasted great, looking forward to cracking one open in a couple of weeks.

Took a mini keg of this to a party last night, massive hit with the other two discerning beer drinkers. All in all, couldn't recommend the kit highly enough.
