    Fermzilla All rounder Dip tubr

Kegged a beer from my first use of fermzilla all rounder and there was quite a bit left over at the end that I couldn't transfer. I think that the floating diptube is a bit too long as it curled around the bottom of the fermzilla and prevented the float from floating 😃 Should I have cut the...

    Opinions on keezer heating

My keezer is currently in an unheated garage and will probably remain there for the foreseeable. Due to the size of freezer and fitting in 4 kegs and taps, I don't have any room for the typical tube heater to be mounted horizontally and from reading the instructions they can't be mounted...

    Outdoor security light

Thought that it was time to replace the outdoor security light on the garage as it's a bit perilous trying to make it to the garage in the dark to pull a beer. I got a new one from Screwfix yesterday and noticed that it was saying that I should loop the wire coming from the light below the home...

    Inkbird Calibration

Had a search on the forum but didn't find a definitive answer on this. I bought a second inkbird 308 WiFi to use in my second fermentation fridge. I decided to calibrate it this morning. I boiled a kettle of water and let it cool for a few minutes. I used my 2 calibrated thermometers which were...

    PTFE on tap fittings.

I have just been setting up my kegs before they get cleaned, sanitised and one filled on Sunday. Was wondering if I need PTFE tape on the threaded John guest fitting that screws into the tap shank and then where the nukatap screws into the shank.

    Digiboil temperature calibration

I just tested my Digiboil this morning and it is reporting 2°C less than my 2 calibrated thermometers. Is there anyway to calibrate the Digiboil do that it displays the corrected temperature instead of having to remember to add the 2°C during a brew day?
