Always rehydrate dry yeast.

I did a brew day with a professional brew once.
He said 'Always rehydrate. It's easy and doesn't add anytime to your brew day.'

Since then I have rehydrated dried yeast form Mangrove Jacks & Fermentis.
That was then this is now. Dried yeasts have come a long way in the last couple of years, imagine being able to pitch the same yeast 5 or 6 times without any aeration. 2 or 3 years ago this would have been unimaginable. But science progresses, up to the individual as Lesaffre point out, take up time re hydrating or just sprinkle over the top.
