Having a brew day tomorrow and have some ideas for a couple of beers what do you reckon. I like hoppy bitter beers.


First is a 4 gallon batch


Fermentables

Extract - Light Dried Malt Extract 2.600 kg


Hops

US Centennial 11.0 % 18 g 60 Min From End
US Cascade 5.9 % 10 g 20 Min From End
citra 11.5 % 10 g 20 Min From End
US Cascade 5.9 % 10 g 5 Min From End
citra 11.5 % 10 g 5 Min From End
US Cascade 5.9 % 10 g 1 Min From End
citra 11.5 % 10 g 1 Min From End
citra 11.5 % 10 g Dry-Hopped
US Cascade 5.9 % 10 g Dry-Hopped






and my second this is for a 1 gallon batch

Well, as a Yank I applaud your use of Cascade! :thumb: The late hopping is great!

I'd want a little crystal if possible if nothing else for color. Can you steep at all?
 
I could steep but not sure how to these are only extract brew 2 & 3 any guides?

the reason i have used cascade as well as citra is i was told that citra can have a slight aroma of cat wee what do you guys think .
