Greetings,
I am interested in adding some flavouring to the beer wort before bottling or adding to a keg.
I was thinking of adding a small quantity Uncle Roys natural flavouring, to enhance but not overpower.

For Stout, I was considering adding chocolate essence, or are chocolate nibs better?
Would mandarin or orange essence be worth adding??

Thanks
Clive

Yes you can. I would pop 100ml beer in a glass and taste test (per ml) to get the proportions, then multiply up.

I would add it just before the end of fermentation to give it chance and then retaste before bottling.

Just add before bottling and as Mashbag has said add a quantified amount with a dropper to a fixed amount so you can scale it up.
Some of the flavourings can overpower the beer as it should taste like beer with a hint of in most cases.
Good Luck
