Yes, impressive first AG brewday, and a lovely looking recipe, you should get a wonderful beer. Prepare to be blown away...

Keep us posted - I like the darker ales myself. Didn't notice anything too awry with the English either, where are you from?

Latvia..although I live in Oxfordshire. Will do , for sure.

I took my first gravity reading after 7 days and it's 0.015. Beersmith says my final estimated gravity should be 0.010 is that ok and is it possible it will go lower after 7 days? I have only 2 brews under my belt and i have never had higher final gravity. My previous two brews were spot on. I was planning to leave it in primary for 3 weeks and ten bottle.

I pitched two rehydrated s05 sachets and fermentation temp was around 18.5.

You want two or three hydrometer readings the same on different days. I would leave it in the FV for two weeks anyway. Some leave it longer, some do a secondary by racking into a different, sterile, FV, and leaving a week or two before bottling/kegging.

After sixteen days I dry hopped it with 30g of citra and 30g of columbus hops.

Bottled it today, i did put a bit too much of cane sugar, but i hope it will be fine.

It's really, really dark, can't see anything through it.

No waiting for it to carb up.
Tried a sample and it was nicely balanced, i am impressed  . I was afraid that it will be too bitter, but I think those dark grains balance it out. FG was 0.014 instead of 0.010 suggested by beersmith.
