Having brewed some reasonably hefty beers recently I though I should go for a session ale in the hope that weaker beer would be ready for a potentially messy boxing day party. I was aiming for something along the lines of Hop Back GFB or Hopdaemon Golden Braid and I hope I've got something close.

3.5kg Dingemans Pale Ale Malt
27g Challenger at 90 mins
20g East Kent Goldings at 20 mins
20g East Kent Goldings at flameout.
Yeast was harvested from 2 bottles of Summer Lightning

OG was measured at 1038 for 24.5 litres, which given an approx. 80% attenuation rate should finish at just under 4%. Brewmate reckons around 35IBUs. Sound ok?
