After fining/racking a gallon of WOW 2 weeks ago I have just checked on it and found that the air lock is active again! (very very slow but co2 is escaping the lock).

Prior to the first rack, the pressure had equalised in the airlock so I used PS, CT and finings etc in the usual manner. Could it be that I didn't degas enough so the remaining co2 is still escaping? Or perhaps I didnt use enough PS?

The wine is clear and bright with no sediment what so ever, so I guess it's ok to just leave as is and let it do it's thang.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Is the DJ topped up to the base of the neck or is there any head space?
If there's head space it could just be temperature fluctuation.

Give the wine a quick swirl in the DJ.

If the water in the airlock moves back towards the wine then its finished fermenting and its degassed (i.e. its the head space as Moley said).

If you get mutliple bubbles passing out of the airlock then you either have more fermentation or didn't degass enough.
