Made up a pear cider kit last week - a tin of Hambleton Bard concentrated juice with sugar added. Unfortunately the sugar that I added was a 1.3 kg mixture of white and demerara I thought ... until my better half pointed out that the 130 gm demerara was in fact 130 gm of ground almonds :hmm:
Anyone ever made a cider with ground almonds? I see some have used almond essence - but I'm curious to see how this one is going to turn out.
