I've just been thinking about WOW and its variants.

All the recipes I've seen call for 1ltr of juice and 1ltr of WGJ.

Why not use 1ltr of juice and 2ltrs of WGJ and reduce the amount of sugar accordingly.? Would there be any benefit from this ?

Like I said, just thinking.

Try a side-by-side comparison with a 1+1 and a 2+1 and let us know if it makes much difference.

My own thoughts are that 1+1 works so why mess with it?

However, I do round up slightly, I make in 15 litre batches and use 4 WGJ + 3 OJ (or mix of other juices).

I make 25lt batches and quite often go slightly heavier on the WGJ side but maybe only 6:4 ratio. An all WGJ mix is not good, but 2:1 may be ok, I have never tried it. WOW is one of those wines you can and should experiment with as the list of variations is just about uncountable.
