So, i'm building a pergola outside the brewhouse (garage)

part of it will be a bbq area with a serving bar.

Now I don't want to die. So i'm wanting to extract the fumes if possible. I mean the pergola will be open at the front and long side, but there are walls and will have a roof.

so i'm making progress. Need more purlins of course and to trim the roofing but it's coming along.

What i'm really keen to do is mount some extraction onto that back white wall with the wood leaning against it.

I've seen commercial canopies etc but I really don't want to spend 2-3k on this.

are there any fans I can install? or just get a couple of normal kitchen extractors side by side?

some people have suggested just a suitable sized hood, no fans.

any ideas people?
