Hi all, I'm new to the forum , I have a problem with a beer I've started brewing , its a youngs brew buddy bitter kit . I did the initial fermentation in the bucket provided, then transfered it to a youngs keg left it for 2 days in the warm then moved it to the garage, its been there for 17 days and its still really cloudy, is this ok ? Its got a really good pressure.
Any help would be gratefully recieved many thanks Russ

Welcome to the forum Russ

Don't worry, that sounds perfectly normal, I have usually found that beers can take anything from 2-6 weeks to clear properly.

You can speed things up by using finings, but that's done before bottling or kegging so it's too late for that with this brew.

Also, top tap kegs will deliver clear beer quicker than those with taps at the bottom, and I assume you've got the latter.

It might not look too great but it's not going to do you any harm if you want to ‘test’ a pint or two now :drink:

Many thanks for the reply moley , I'll keep my fingers crossed !
