Citra is great for late addition / cold-hopping. I wouldn't say No to any given combination, that's what homebrew is all about, no? :) Besides, it's always a matter of personal taste - what you like others might not, and so forth.

Admiral will give minimal flavour and a clean bitterness so won't affect too much. Citra is delicious - you can never have too much citra if you ask me. Add plenty late and dry hop and it'll most probably turn out great.

Bulk buy and split with other brewer's . You'll easily get the $/100g well below that.

Even so, there's so many other delicious, fruity hops out there it's hard to justify prices some suppliers prices. I guess if people are willing to pay it then so be it. Price not being a factor, you can never have too much citra!
