Woodfordes Wherry Bitter has been voted as a similar type of brew to Abbots..

Good Luck

GN- sorry i didn't realise that!

i don't make kits as i'm very happy with AG and have no plans to change.

From BBLTYB

For 25L @1.049
3800g Pale Malt
100g Crystal Malt
60gm Roast Malt
250g FLaked Maize

25g Northern Brewer 7% AA (90 Mins)
100g Goldings 4.5% AA (90 Mins)
15g Goldings ( 15 minutes)
10g Goldings Dry Hop

Knowing Dave Lines Recipes as I do I would increase the malt by 20% and hops down by 10-20%

Also remember this is for the 70's version of the beer not the travesty it has become today.

aleman

thanks. i will give it a go. do you have any temperature recommendations?
