Coffee Wine not fermenting, any help?

I made a coffee wine last night and it does not seem to even be close to starting to ferment.
I followed the recipe out of a book, and the instructions, but still no activity.
Do I give it another day or is there something I can do to 'help' it?

have you tested it with a hydrometer?

Nope, but I have moved it onto my heat mat, and it seems to be getting some life into it now. All the yeast is at the bottom of my DJ in a pile.

Coffee Wine is now fermenting well, I think it was a little too cold, heat mat proved to work fine.
