Today I mashed in at 5.30am  a nice looking Dark Chocolate Stout.

Recipe was
Pale Malt
Chocolate malt
Black Malt
Oat malt
Munich malt
Torrefied Wheat

Fuggles
Goldings

Lots of 85% choclate & 100% Coco Powder

I took a few photos of the day, (not many) I will say it was probably my easiest brewday so far, (been tweaking things a bit over Xmas) & the Finished wort was very drinkable in a mug straight out the copper. :drink:

& I have a very Interesting :ugeek: Video of the rolling Boil I get now with the New Electric Kettle Here note this is 160ltrs with just one 3Kw element on. The vessel took 40mins to raise from 72 to boiling, not bad.

very odd :wha: it seems all the of replies have disapeared :hmm:

Anyhow I went in the brewery for a look this morning & the chocolatey smell that greeted me was very very strong.

Fermentation has got off to a good start

I skimmed all the brown crud off the top, & dropped the break out the kneck of the cone.

Can't wait to try this one it smells like a winner.
