coopers australian pale ale temp & head

hi there

started a 'coopers australian pale ale 3 days ago... temp has been between 65-70 all that time.. I just wondered is the head from the fermenation usualy less on ales? as the last kits ive brewed the heads from the fermenation were touching the top of the fermenation bin. This one however got to an inch max and thats it... just wondered if i have done something wrong...

Depends on the yeast used in the kit and the ingredients in the kit, as long as its got active fermentation its working and it sounds like it is.

Your brew will be fine ,all yeasts have different characteristics .

I’ve got a pumped Coopers Bootmaker on the go now. It’s bubbling away nicely but there’s no Krausen. It was started in Saturday, New England yeast pitched @25c and put in the brew fridge to be kept @20c
