Made a cream Ale two days ago and now fermenting nicely - suddenly dawned on me that I forget to add the honey. Need some friendly advice - do I just forget it, should I add to current batch? Need an experts steer

Thanks all

You'll be fine to add it now for sure. If you were worried about contamination you could pasteurise the honey in a water bath before adding it to the beer but I personally wouldn't bother with that - the alcohol presence, pH of the fermenting beer and the fact your yeast is now well established should keep any bacteria at bay.

What kind of honey is it?

I'd just put it in now. I've done similar after starting a brew & then deciding it needed a bit more ABV.

I asked this s few days back, apparently it’s sterile enough to dump in the primary.

This was from a pro brewer.

I used a 425g jar from Lidl’s. £1.05.
