Dry hopping fruit zest

Can you dry hop orange or lemon zest into the secondary fermenter? Other then flavour will this effect any other aspects of the beer?
 
yep of course you can! maybe dry hop for a week. i'd mash it up a bit and chuck it in a bag to get the flavour out.

lemon juice can negatively affect the head retention of a beer, but you should be okay with the zest.
 
Just so you know , when i make a witbier i use around 30g of orange peel in the last 5 mins of the boil and you can notice it nicely , i would think twice about how much you add as it may be overpowering and a bit (too)sweet however until you try you won't know
