The second kit made before Christmas and after a 25 year absence from making my own beer. It includes 3kg of extract as well as 650g dextrose to up the ABV a bit. The OG was 1050 and I bottled at 1010 after 13 days with an ABV of about 5.25%. I tasted on bottling and thought it was good but not spectacular. After 2 weeks conditioning and further cold storage the taste had improved a lot and it is now a really nice pint (what's left of it) with distinct dark plummy notes. Not strongly carbonated and I guess this is right for a London style. Again, a kit I wouldn't have spotted as home brew if I'd tasted blind. Favourable reports from third parties, so not just my bias.
