First time brewer

Digging through the attic the other day, found some brewers kit left by my partners parents, when they owned the house, so thought I'd give it a go as I do love a good pint of lager

Think I confused with my terminology...I meant all the equipment is in the attic...it doesn't seem particularly expensive anyway ...good guide
